Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 20, 2026
1. General Information and Scope
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the sale of physical products through the online store Omega Materials, a brand of AMAF Engineering.
The legal seller and contractual partner is:

These Terms apply to purchases made by both consumers (B2C) and business customers (B2B).
A "consumer" is a natural person purchasing goods for purposes predominantly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.
A "business customer" is a natural or legal person, or a partnership with legal capacity, acting for purposes relating to their trade, business, craft or profession.
Where different provisions apply to consumers and business customers, these are expressly identified.
Any individual agreements expressly concluded between the seller and the customer take precedence over these Terms.
2. Products and Product Information
Omega Materials offers physical products for additive manufacturing and 3D printing applications, including printing materials, material chips, adapters and related accessories.
Product descriptions, technical specifications, material properties, compatibility information, quantities and prices are provided on the respective product pages.
Customers should verify that the selected products are suitable for their intended applications, equipment and operating conditions.
References to specific printer manufacturers, models, systems or trademarks are provided for identification and compatibility purposes. Unless expressly stated otherwise, such references do not imply affiliation, endorsement or authorization by those manufacturers.
Our products are not necessarily original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products.
Technical information, recommendations and processing parameters are provided to assist customers in selecting and using our products.
They do not constitute an additional commercial guarantee of specific performance or suitability for a particular application unless expressly agreed.
All statutory rights relating to product conformity, defects and applicable guarantees remain unaffected.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The presentation of products in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer but an invitation to submit an order.
Customers can select products, add them to their shopping cart and review or correct their order details before submitting the order.
By clicking the final checkout button indicating an obligation to pay, the customer submits a binding offer to purchase the selected products.
An automatically generated order receipt confirms that the order has been received. Unless the content or circumstances expressly indicate acceptance, this acknowledgement does not by itself constitute acceptance of the offer.
The purchase contract is concluded when AMAF Engineering expressly accepts the order, for example through an order acceptance confirmation or shipping confirmation, or by dispatching the goods.
If an order cannot be accepted, we will inform the customer and refund any payment already received without undue delay.
The contractual language is English unless expressly agreed otherwise.
4. Prices and Taxes
All prices are displayed in the currency indicated in the online store.
The applicable tax treatment, including value-added tax (VAT), is determined according to the customer's status, delivery destination and applicable tax regulations.
Where VAT applies, the applicable VAT amount is displayed in accordance with legal requirements.
For eligible intra-EU B2B transactions, VAT exemptions or other applicable tax arrangements may apply where the relevant legal conditions are satisfied.
Any additional shipping charges are displayed before the customer submits the order.
Customers are informed of the total price, including applicable taxes and additional delivery charges, before placing a binding order.
AMAF Engineering reserves the right to change product prices for future orders. Such changes do not affect contracts already concluded.
5. Payment
Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.
Payments are processed using the selected payment method and the applicable payment service provider.
Unless another payment arrangement has been expressly agreed, payment is due in accordance with the terms displayed during checkout.
For business customers, alternative payment arrangements, including payment by invoice, may be agreed separately.
If payment authorization fails or payment cannot be completed, the order may not be processed. Any cancellation of an already concluded contract remains subject to applicable contractual and statutory requirements.
6. Shipping and Delivery
Omega Materials currently offers delivery to supported destinations within the European Union.
Orders are typically processed and prepared for shipment within 1–3 business days after payment confirmation.
Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in Germany.
The actual delivery time depends on the destination country, shipping method and carrier.
Available shipping destinations, estimated delivery times and shipping charges are displayed during the ordering process.
Any agreed delivery dates and mandatory statutory delivery requirements remain unaffected.
Where no delivery period has been agreed, the applicable statutory delivery rules apply.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete delivery information.
If a delivery fails due to incorrect or incomplete shipping details supplied by the customer, additional shipping costs may be charged to the extent permitted by applicable law.
For consumer purchases, the risk of accidental loss of or damage to the goods generally passes to the customer when the customer, or a designated third party other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.
Where a consumer independently commissions a carrier not offered by the seller, the applicable statutory provisions concerning the transfer of risk apply.
For business customers, the statutory rules concerning shipment and transfer of risk apply unless otherwise expressly agreed.
Further information is available in our Shipping Policy.
7. Retention of Title
The goods remain the property of AMAF Engineering until the purchase price has been paid in full.
For business customers, additional retention-of-title arrangements may be agreed separately where permitted by applicable law.
Mandatory statutory provisions remain unaffected.
8. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
Consumers generally have the statutory right to withdraw from an online purchase contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
The withdrawal period generally begins upon receipt of the goods, subject to the applicable statutory provisions.
Detailed information concerning the right of withdrawal, its exercise, applicable deadlines, return procedures and reimbursement is provided in our separate Right of Withdrawal policy.
Consumers exercising their statutory right of withdrawal bear the direct cost of returning the goods, provided they have been properly informed of this obligation.
Where required by law, the original standard delivery charges will be reimbursed in the event of withdrawal.
Opening product packaging does not automatically eliminate the statutory right of withdrawal.
Consumers may be liable for diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, in accordance with applicable law.
The statutory consumer right of withdrawal does not apply to purchases made by business customers acting in their commercial or professional capacity.
9. Returns by Business Customers
Business customers do not have a statutory consumer right of withdrawal.
Returns or exchanges of correctly delivered, non-defective products purchased by business customers require prior agreement with AMAF Engineering.
Any voluntary returns may be subject to individually agreed conditions.
Statutory and contractual rights relating to defective or non-conforming goods remain unaffected.
10. Defective Goods and Statutory Warranty Rights
All products are subject to the applicable statutory provisions concerning conformity and defects.
Consumers benefit from the mandatory legal guarantee and remedies provided by applicable consumer protection laws.
Under EU consumer protection rules, consumers generally benefit from a minimum two-year legal guarantee of conformity for goods, subject to the applicable national law.
Where goods are defective or do not conform to the purchase contract, consumers may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or termination of the contract in accordance with applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes mandatory statutory consumer rights.
For business customers, the applicable statutory provisions concerning defects, inspection obligations and commercial transactions apply unless a legally permissible alternative arrangement has been expressly agreed.
Any additional commercial warranty is provided only where expressly stated and does not affect statutory rights.
11. Product Compatibility and Technical Use
Certain products offered by Omega Materials are intended for use with specific 3D printing systems, material handling equipment, chip interfaces or adapter configurations.
Customers should verify the compatibility of the selected products with their equipment before purchase and use.
Where compatibility information is provided, it relates to the specifications and conditions described on the relevant product page.
Actual printing results may vary depending on factors including printer configuration, processing temperatures, humidity, material storage, equipment maintenance, software settings and the intended application.
Customers should follow the applicable processing, handling and safety instructions.
Materials should be stored under suitable conditions to avoid moisture absorption, contamination or deterioration.
Where appropriate, customers should perform their own qualification tests before using materials for critical, safety-related or production applications.
Compatibility with all hardware revisions, firmware versions or third-party modifications is not guaranteed unless expressly stated or contractually agreed.
Nothing in this section limits statutory rights concerning defective goods, incorrect compatibility information or lack of conformity with the contract.
12. Third-Party Products and Trademarks
All third-party trademarks, product names, printer model names and registered marks remain the property of their respective owners.
References to third-party products or manufacturers are made for identification, compatibility or informational purposes.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Omega Materials is an independent brand and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by the manufacturers of compatible third-party printing systems.
Any manufacturer's commercial warranty is governed by the terms issued by the respective manufacturer and applicable law.
AMAF Engineering does not guarantee that the use of third-party materials or accessories will have any particular effect on a manufacturer's commercial warranty.
Customers retain any mandatory statutory rights available under applicable law.
13. Limitation of Liability
AMAF Engineering is liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health resulting from a negligent or intentional breach of duty, and in cases of mandatory statutory liability, including liability under applicable product liability laws.
In cases of slight negligence, AMAF Engineering is liable for breaches of material contractual obligations whose fulfilment is essential for the proper performance of the contract and on whose fulfilment the customer may regularly rely.
In such cases, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract, insofar as permitted by law.
Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by applicable law.
These limitations also apply to the liability of our legal representatives and agents where legally permissible.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts mandatory consumer protection rights, statutory remedies concerning defective goods or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Customer Accounts and Information
Customers may be able to create an account to manage orders and access related services.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping their account credentials confidential.
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
15. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including texts, product photographs, graphics, logos, designs and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws unless otherwise indicated.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution or commercial use of protected content is prohibited without prior permission, except where permitted by law.
Third-party trademarks and intellectual property rights remain the property of their respective owners.
16. Force Majeure
AMAF Engineering is not responsible for delays or failures in performance caused by events beyond its reasonable control, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Such events may include natural disasters, war, major infrastructure failures, governmental restrictions or other extraordinary circumstances.
We will make reasonable efforts to inform affected customers and minimize disruption.
Mandatory statutory rights, including consumers' rights in cases of delayed delivery or non-performance, remain unaffected.
17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and all contractual relationships with AMAF Engineering are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG), to the extent permitted by applicable law.
For consumers residing in another EU Member State, this choice of law does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of habitual residence where such provisions apply.
For business customers, the courts having jurisdiction over Kempten, Germany, shall have jurisdiction where a valid jurisdiction agreement is legally permissible.
Mandatory statutory rules concerning jurisdiction, particularly those protecting consumers, remain unaffected.
18. Amendments to These Terms
AMAF Engineering may update these Terms for future transactions to reflect changes in its business, products, legal requirements or operating procedures.
The Terms applicable at the time of conclusion of a purchase contract remain applicable to that contract unless otherwise validly agreed.
Updated Terms will be made available on our website.
19. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
Applicable statutory provisions shall apply in place of any invalid or unenforceable provision.
